Karachi: In Gulshan Iqbal, Vigo trampled many citizens standing on the road, the heartbreaking video went viral on social media.
According to Express News, a heart-wrenching video of a clumsy driver in a black Vigo hitting people with his car near Gulshan Iqbal Takoon Park and running over the fallen people on the road has gone viral on social media.
Fortunately, there was no loss of life in the accident, but a person, his 2 young daughters and a niece were seriously injured in the incident. The driver of the Vigo escaped from the spot in a dangerous manner, and many people narrowly escaped being injured in the accident.
The police still could not trace the driver responsible for the accident, the Gulshan Iqbal police registered a case against the driver of the unknown Vigo on the complaint of the injured Sajjad Hussain.
The plaintiff in the case, Sajjad Hussain, who is undergoing treatment at Liaquat National Hospital, has given a statement to the police that he resides at Gulistan Johar Block 10 Yasir Terrace Phase One and came to Gulshan Iqbal Sunday Bazaar on August 27 along with his sister, 2 daughters and younger niece. Tha where the sister went to the Sunday market for shopping while he himself went to the nearby park with his two daughters and niece.
Later, a call came from my sister that she had returned from shopping, and as soon as she left the park and started to go to the car, a Vigo car came from an unknown direction, which crushed us all, and in the meantime I was unconscious. And when I regained consciousness, I was in the hospital.
“I have internal injuries under my head and both bones of my left leg are broken, while my 4-year-old daughter Hureen has injuries on her left leg, ankle and the back of her head,” he said. My other daughter, 7-year-old Hania, has injuries on the left side of her ribs and below and above her eye, while my niece Hamna, 5-years-old, has injuries on her nose, head, left foot and upper leg.
According to the plaintiff, my claim is on the unknown driver for driving the car very negligently, recklessly and at a high speed by hitting us and seriously injuring us, so legal action should be taken against him.
