Dengue started to rise in Karachi, 10 cases reported in 24 hours

Karachi: 10 cases of dengue have been reported in the city of Quaid during the last 24 hours.

The Sindh Health Department has stated in the report issued about the dengue situation in the province that 10 cases of dengue have been reported in Karachi, 3 in Hyderabad and one in Sukkur.

According to the Sindh Health Department, 183 cases have been reported in Sindh so far in August, in which 148 cases have been reported from Karachi, 27 from Hyderabad, 3 from Mirpurkhas, 3 from Sukkur and 1 from Larkana.

The Sindh Health Department says that the East district is the most affected in Karachi, where 82 dengue cases have been reported in August, 23 from the South district, 21 from the Central district and 7 from the Malir district.

7 cases have been reported from Korangi district, 4 from Kemari district and 7 from Gharbi. This year, 923 cases of dengue were reported across Sindh, out of which no death was recorded.
