Mumbai: Rumors of famous Bollywood actress Urvashi Rotila joining the cast of South Indian film Kantara 2 turned out to be baseless.
Actress Urvashi Rotila took to the social networking site yesterday to share a picture with director Rishabh Shetty in which she is seen smiling. After the picture went viral, speculations were rife that she might have been roped in to the cast of Kantara 2 which will release next year in 2024.
The Bollywood actress used the Kantara 2 hashtag in the caption.
According to Indian media reports, a source close to the production house revealed that “All the rumors about Urvashi Rautela’s casting in Kantara 2 are completely baseless and false, Urvashi and Rishabh Shetty met at an event.

Eagerly waiting to hear more about the progress of the Kantara prequel announced by Rishabh Shetty recently on the film’s 100-day mark.
Urvashi will next be seen with Ramputhini. She will also play Randeep Hooda’s co-star in Inspector Avinash, the actress will also make her Hollywood debut opposite Michelle Morone and will be seen opposite Jason Derulo in an upcoming global music single.
