Parvez Elahi's physical remand extended for another four days

Islamabad: The Accountability Court has extended the physical remand of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi for another four days, while NAB has submitted a progress report in the case against Parvez Elahi in the court, in which it has been said that Parvez Elahi is not cooperating with NAB.

According to Express News, a hearing was held in front of the Accountability Court in the case of bribery and kickbacks in development projects against Tehreek-e-Insaf President Pervaiz Elahi, in which the court pronounced a reserved decision today.

The court extended the physical remand of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi for another four days. This decision was pronounced by Judge Malik Muhammad Sajid Ali Awan of Accountability Court Number Five.

Parvez Elahi is not cooperating with NAB, submit report in NAB court

Earlier, NAB submitted a progress report in the court against Pervez Elahi in the government contract scam and kickbacks inquiry. The report said that Pervez Elahi is not cooperating with NAB in the investigation, 120 million rupees came into Pervez Elahi’s account, but Pervez Elahi still could not tell the sources.

The report states that huge sums of money were accumulated in the accounts of Pervaiz Elahi’s family, the huge amount was transferred after Pervaiz Elahi became the Chief Minister in an apparent abuse of office, Pervez Elahi as Chief Minister to his son Munis Elahi. , depended on Principal Secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti and Azmat Hayat.

The report states that NAB has issued an arrest warrant for Parvaiz Elahi’s principal secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti, Monis Elahi has gone into hiding for fear of arrest, Azmat Hayat is exempt from kickbacks and bribes as a witness. Pervez Elahi approved schemes for kickbacks outside the law, Pervez Elahi along with other co-accused caused damage to the public treasury.
