Famous Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee says that I believe any change that benefits women is positive.
Rani Mukherjee is often seen talking about showing women in strong and courageous roles in films instead of portraying them as a weak member of society in the traditional way.
In a recent interview, she expressed her opinion on women being shown in important and strong lead roles on digital platforms unlike traditional films.
“I believe any change that benefits women is positive,” she said. The willingness of women to lead is great but it is also important that people see our work because our success as actors depends on the audience, we are not just working for five or six moviegoers, we want to make our work global. But want acceptance.
He explained that various factors play a role in a film’s suitability for the theatrical format, including monetization and the preferences of moviegoers, if the audience wants to see women in the comfort of their homes in the same traditional way. If you like to watch sitting, then obviously the same will be shown in the movie.
Rani Mukherjee said, “But my stand is to show my fans a strong female lead.”
He said that I am sure that the audience will like such films but such films can be made only if they are economically viable for the producers.
