The accused tried to escape when stopped by the police
Lahore: The police recovered a cache of weapons from a suspicious car and arrested the accused
According to defense a police signaled the cars to stop on suspicion, whereupon the car occupants tried to escape on seeing the police.
There were 8 people in the suspicious cars, but the police chased the cars in a film style and stopped the accused, on which a cache of weapons was recovered from the car.
According to the police, 6 rifles, 21 magazines and hundreds of bullets were recovered from the car. Defense A Police has arrested the accused and transferred them to the police station along with the weapons and registered a case.
