The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has arrested a drug smuggler from Lahore in another major operation against drug smuggling using drones.
On intelligence information, a vehicle was indicated to stop near DHA Lahore, the accused in the car drove away from the spot instead of stopping the vehicle.
During the pursuit of the vehicle, the accused hit the vehicle on the footpath, the driver of the car, Fayaz Hussain, a resident of Lahore, was arrested on the spot.
On search, 10 kg heroin and drone were recovered from the vehicle, a packet of 1 kg heroin was attached to the drone, the arrested accused ANF was also wanted in other cases.
During the investigation, the arrested accused confessed to drug smuggling through drones and further investigations are being conducted on the accused to arrest other members of the gang.
