Well-known Bollywood actor Vijay Varma has revealed about running away from home and not talking to his father for a long time.

A popular actor, often seen in negative roles, Vijay Varma is widely admired for his acting skills, with several notable Bollywood films including Gully Boy, Dahaar, Darlings, Calcutta.

Choosing acting as a career was not easy for Vijay Varma, he had to fight with his family, run away from home and make many sacrifices to pursue his passion.

In a recent interview, Vijay Varma has opened up about his complicated relationship with his father and why he ran away from home.

The actor told in an interview with ‘Film Companion’ that in the beginning he had a very loving relationship with all the members of his family, as he was the youngest in the house and hence his parents from a young age. All their demands were fulfilled.

The actor said that when he expressed his thoughts about joining the industry in front of his family, his father frowned and stopped communicating with him.

Vijay Varma revealed during the interview that he and his father had not spoken for 8 years.

Vijay said that my father wanted me to take interest and participate in his handicraft business in Hyderabad while my mind was set towards acting.

He further said that due to his father’s constant disapproval, he ran away from home to pursue his passion. After running away from home, he did not speak to anyone for 7 to 8 years.

According to Vijay Varma, after running away from home and the success of the film ‘Gullyboy’ in 2019, he spoke to his father and everything was fine between them. Vijay Varma said that it was necessary for him to run away from home. Otherwise they would not have been able to fulfill their dreams.
