The government of Sindh has declared a public holiday on the occasion of the Urs of the great saint and Sufi poet of Sindh, Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai.

The caretaker Sindh government has announced a public holiday in the province on Friday, September 1, the notification of which has also been issued.

The annual 3-day Urs of Shah Abdul Latif Bhatai begins on 14th of Safar at Bhat Shah.

Sufi sage Shah Abdul Latif Bhatai died in 1752 and was buried in Bhat Shah.
