The investigation against Director School Education Karachi took an interesting turn

Karachi: In the Department of School Education of the Government of Sindh, the investigation on the matters of irregularities in appointments against the Director of Schools Secondary Karachi has become interesting.

According to the details, the allegations leveled against Director School Education Secondary Yar Muhammad Bilidi have become suspicious. It is being reported that the private party on whose behalf these allegations were made has not been able to provide any concrete evidence to the School Education Department due to which the investigation has practically stopped or stalled.

It is to be remembered that this inquiry started during the outgoing government of the People’s Party at a time when Yar Muhammad Bilidi was the DEO (District Education Officer) East and the recruitment of school teachers was going on.

When ‘Express’ inquired from Deputy Secretary Legal Javed Ali Khawaja regarding the investigation started by the School Education Department, he said, “Its inquiry officer is Special Secretary Abida Lodhi, we are providing her legal support.” ‘.

He revealed that we had called the Director of Schools, Yar Muhammad Bilidi to record his statement and his statement has also been recorded but the complaining party did not come despite being called, now we have called him again.

Also, to investigate the matter further, when ‘Express’ was approached by a person named Sherafgan, who had complained against the director of schools, he initially claimed that in his JST and PST written tests. He scored the highest marks but still he was not issued an offer letter nor was he employed in the school.

He claimed that whenever he went to the office of the former DEO West or Muhammad Buldi and inquired why I was not being given a job, Buldi started demanding money, initially asking for Rs 3 lakh and finally reaching Rs 1 lakh. But I could not pay this amount so I was not given this mixed zamat.

He claimed that Bledi used to say that this money should be sent to the Upper Secretary, to a question he said that he was not called by the Education Department for a statement – ‘It is noteworthy that when the ‘Express’ demanded from him that if he claimed that he had scored the highest marks in the test, would he provide documentary evidence in this regard.

On which he said that he does not have a WhatsApp number, he can give it if he contacts another number at night. He refused saying that ‘what I have told is enough, I will not share anything’.

According to the document, the complainant had applied for an investigation of the matter in the Anti-Corruption Department in February this year, on which an inquiry was recommended by the School Education Department and on May 3, the then Deputy Secretary Legal of the School Education Department. Director of Schools Farnaz Riaz, who issued the letter, it was said that Yar Muhammad Bilidi is accused of asking for a bribe of Rs. The documents will be provided after which the same record was demanded from Yar Muhammad Bilidi but in the meantime he was appointed as Director of Schools Karachi.

It should be remembered that the notification of his appointment was made almost 2 months before the appointment. On the other hand, “Express” contacted the current Director of Schools, Yar Muhammad Baladi, to further investigate the matter. He was blackmailing, sometimes he said that I am DSP and sometimes he said that I am Deputy Director of Anti-Corruption. Yar Mohammad Bilidi said that if someone introduces himself that I am an officer of the Anti-Corruption Department, then who will ask for money from such a person, his allegations were baseless, he failed the test or the marks were not required, how can we appoint him? Said that we have prepared the answer and given it to the Special Secretary.
