In the southern Indian city of Bangalore, a man allegedly killed his partner on suspicion of cheating.
According to the report of Indian media, the person who killed his partner by hitting a pressure cooker has been arrested.
Local police told the media that the incident took place on Saturday at 5 pm when the two had an argument over something.
Police said that the accused suspected that his partner was cheating on him while he was having a relationship with someone else.
Deva and the accused Vishnu, who hails from Kerala, were living in Bangalore for the past two years. Both had known each other since their college days and were both working in a sales and marketing firm.
The matter came to light when the late Deva’s sister tried to contact her, on failure, the sister contacted Deva’s neighbor from where she got the news of her sister’s death.
According to the police, Vishnu fled after the incident, but the police tracked him down and arrested him.
The neighbor told the police that there were frequent fights between the two.
