Cafe: Two Ukrainian Air Force planes collided mid-air during a training flight, resulting in the death of three pilots.
According to the international news agency, the collision of Ukrainian military aircraft L-39 took place in Zhytomyr, the western region of the capital city of Kiev. Both the planes crashed after the collision.
As soon as they fell on the ground, the fire broke out in the planes and soon the planes became a pile of ashes. Rescue teams were sent to search for the planes as soon as the planes lost contact with the control tower.
The rescue team found the wreckage in the area of Zhytomyr. During the rescue operations, the bodies of three people were recovered who were pilots of the Ukrainian Air Force, one of whom was quite famous due to a viral interview given to the world media.
The Ukrainian Air Force said in a statement that the two aircraft were on a routine training flight. An inquiry committee was formed to investigate the incident.
It should be noted that the incident of Ukrainian training planes crashing in the air came at a time when Denmark and the Netherlands promised to provide F-16 aircraft for the war against Russia.
On which the Ukrainian Air Force announced to train its pilots to fly F-16 aircraft. These planes will be received by Ukraine in the next few months, but Ukraine will only be able to use these planes for self-defense on its territory.
The Ukrainian Air Force has ruled out the possibility of Russian or terrorist involvement in the plane crash.
