New Delhi: Parents in India brutally murdered their 19-year-old pregnant daughter because she refused to testify in an adultery case against her lover.
According to Indian media, the parents of a young girl in the state of Uttar Pradesh filed a case of sexual assault on a boy. In the case, it was said that the young boy kidnapped and sexually assaulted her daughter.
The police arrested the boy who told that he loves the girl and the girl also wants to marry him but her parents are not agreeing so they have framed me in a false case of rape.
The court summoned the girl to know her position in this case, but her parents strangled her to death in the night before the appearance.
Police say that the boy and the girl eloped to another city in October 2022 and got married. On the complaint of the parents, the couple was arrested by the police in December 2023 after a search and the boy was sent to jail and the girl was sent home.
According to the police, the girl’s parents pressured their daughter to tell the court that the boy kidnapped her and raped her when the girl was not ready to give a statement against her boyfriend. He said that we are legally married.
Police further said that the girl’s parents wanted to implicate the boy in a false case. When the girl refused, the parents strangled their daughter in anger and threw the body in the river.
When the girl did not reach the court, the boy expressed fear that the in-laws had not harmed my wife, on which the court ordered the police to search for the girl.
Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Suman told reporters that the girl’s parents were arrested, who confessed to killing the daughter during investigation and recovered the body from the river.
