Karachi: In Korangi, the group that was acting as a camouflage for the police was caught, the arrested accused were involved in more than 100 street crime incidents.
According to the details, Korangi police, acting on a tip-off, arrested 4 suspects who were involved in street crime and house robberies. The accused revealed in the investigation that the group was formed in the jail and used to do complete rickshaws before the robbery.
SHO Korangi Raja Khalid Mehmood said that Muhammad Yasin and Alvin Masih formed a group in the jail which included Muhammad Hussain, Asghar, Yasir, Gibran and other boys.
According to the police, the accused used to do full raking of citizens leaving the shops and banks with money in Korangi Industrial Area and Landhi Industrial Area. Footage has also been obtained.
