Mumbai: Indian star Sunny Deol’s statement came out about the blockbuster film ‘Ghadr 2’ being anti-Pakistan and anti-Muslim.

Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol are back on the big screen with the new film and the film has collected 440 crores within a fortnight.

On the impression of being an anti-Pakistan film, the actor said that since the partition, the people of both the countries have feelings of hatred against each other and normal people live on both sides.

He said that the story of the film requires a hero and a villain and whenever he played the role of Tara Singh in the film, he did not ridicule anyone.

The actor further said that such films should not be taken too seriously, there is more nonsense on digital platforms and news channels.

Sunny Deol said that the purpose of cinema is entertainment and some exaggeration is done to make movies look good.
