Rawalpindi: Rawat Police solved the mystery of the murder of a 15-year-old girl by pretending to be suicide by conducting an effective investigation.
The accused revealed that he first tortured the step sister in the absence of the mother and then killed her by putting a noose around her neck after raping her.
The police received information that a 15-year-old girl had committed suicide in Bagashikhan area, on which AS President Dr. Zainab Ayub and SHO Rawat along with the police team immediately reached the spot.
Initially, the accused tried to make the incident of murder a suicide, but the investigation was conducted in the light of the circumstances, events and evidence, and the case turned out to be murder. The police took the accused into custody and investigated, then the accused revealed his crime.
Effective investigation by the police solved the mystery of rape and murder in a few hours, the post-mortem of the body was conducted.
A case of the incident has been registered against the step brother of the victim’s mother, the accused will be brought to court with solid evidence and will be punished.
CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani congratulated ASP President Dr. Zainab Ayub, SHO Rawat and the team for arresting the accused by effectively investigating the serious incident and revealing the facts. CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani said that all legal requirements will be fulfilled to get the accused severely punished by the honorable court.
