Chicago: Two women were injured in a shooting during a White Sox baseball game at Guaranteed Rate Field.
According to the American media, the Chicago police said that a 42-year-old woman was shot in the leg while another 26-year-old woman was shot in the stomach in a shooting incident during the game.
42 The 26-year-old woman was admitted to the University of Chicago Medical Center in non-life-threatening condition, but the 26-year-old refused medical attention.
Police also said it was unclear whether the shots were fired from outside the ballpark or from inside, as the investigation is ongoing.
Chicago Police on receiving a report of the incident took immediate action and worked with White Sox security to ensure the safety of others attending the game.
