Karachi: FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Cell arrested an agent who was sending Pakistani citizens to Iraq for employment on fake documents while conducting operations in Karachi.
According to FIA officials, inquiry and cases have already been registered against the accused Saadi Ahmed in the anti-human trafficking cell.
Fraudsters take citizens to Iran on the pretext of pilgrimage, where fake Iraqi visas are provided. The accused are involved in forgery from citizens of Hafizabad and other areas of Punjab.
According to FIA, an agent named Sheikh Ansari in Iran provides fake visas to Iraq, the accused Sadi Ahmed reached Karachi by train from Hafizabad on Saturday afternoon with 35 people.
The FIA staff acted on a tip-off and arrested them at Kent station, most of the victims of forgery went crazy, the 6 citizens who were arrested were released on the grounds of dissociation from the gang.
