FIA Anti-Terrorism Wing Interrogates Imran Khan in Attock Jail
Islamabad: Chairman PTI Imran Khan was formally investigated in the case registered under the Official Secret Act in the FIA Anti-Terrorism Wing on cipher content, audio leak and disappearance.
The FIA Anti-Terrorism Wing team interrogated Chairman PTI for over an hour.
The FIA Anti-Terrorism Wing has registered a case under the Official Service Act and other provisions regarding the disappearance of the cipher content and audio leak.
Imran Khan and former Foreign Minister and Vice Chairman PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi are directly named in the case.
In the case, it is indicated that the role of former Secretary General PTI Asad Umar and former Prime Minister’s Principal Secretary Azam Khan will be determined in the investigation.
Former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has been arrested in the case and is in the custody of FIA on remand, and the investigation is ongoing.
According to the sources, the FIA Anti-Terrorism Wing team reached the Attock Jail on Saturday between 2:00 and 2:30 AM and interrogated Imran Khan for more than an hour while interrogating Chairman PTI Imran Khan, who was formally involved in the case.
The investigation team questioned Chairman PTI on the answers and revelations that have come out in the investigation of Shah Mehmood Qureshi so far and also inquired from Chairman PTI about the copy of the missing draft of the cipher.
The investigation team interrogated Imran Khan till about 3.30 pm and will leave after recording the statement.
