Indian Wells/California: Meta, the parent company of Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram, has introduced a new and powerful model for mutual translations in 100 languages of the world, which is named ‘Seamless M40 Multilingual AI Translation Model’.
This powerful algorithm is expected to revolutionize translation and facilitate the most accurate translations from one language to another. Thanks to this model, it will also be possible to translate text and voice, which will help in multilingual translations.
Meta aspires to be a universal translator. However, speech-to-voice translations in one language or even the latest voice-to-text software are very limited. In this context, Meta’s effort will prove to be a major milestone.
The ‘Seamless Mforty Multilingual AI Translation Model’ works under a single algorithm, which will reduce errors and reduce slowness. This will increase the accuracy and quality of the translation. In real time people will be able to communicate with each other in one language.
Metta has said that under this model, language translations can be achieved very effectively, similar to ‘science fiction’ films. In addition, it will be possible to translate the text of the head-mounted display. This will revolutionize interpersonal communication.
But Meta is not alone in this race, as Google has started working to improve its translation and Apple itself is moving along the same lines.
