Ankara: A video of nurses rescuing newborn babies in a hospital’s intensive care ward during a 7.1-magnitude earthquake in Turkey has gone viral.
According to the Turkish media, the CCTV camera of a hospital in Gaziantep recorded a priceless video of sense of responsibility and passion, in which it can be seen that two nurses rushed to protect children without caring for their own lives.
It can be seen in the video that when the hospital building shook for a minute due to the earthquake, the nurses on duty named Dewalt Nizam and Ghazul Kalskan saved the baby incubators from collapsing.
These nurses could have run away from the hospital to save themselves if they wanted to, but they worried about the babies in the incubators and managed to keep them safe.
The duty of these nurses is being appreciated on social media.
It should be noted that the number of people who died in the earthquake in Turkey has exceeded 24 thousand 600. It is the deadliest earthquake to hit Turkey since 1939.
