G20 countries should stop human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir, Ali Raza Syed

Chairman Kashmir Council European Union Ali Raza Syed has appealed to the G20 countries and other world powers to stop human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir and play their role for a fair solution to the Kashmir issue.

It should be remembered that the G20 summit will be held in New Delhi on September 9 and 10 at the invitation of the Indian government.

Chairman Ali Raza Syed, while commenting on the G20 meeting in New Delhi, said in a statement that the international community, including the G20 member countries, knows that India is involved in serious violations of human rights in Occupied Kashmir and that Kashmiris have been suffering for a long time. They have been trying to achieve their right to self-determination for a long time.

Ali Raza Syed said that India wants to prove that the situation in this country is normal by calling international meetings in its country, while the actual reality is the opposite.

He said that it is clear that apart from Occupied Kashmir, the minorities living in India are also deprived of their basic democratic and human rights. Muslims, Christians and even Hindus belonging to lower castes are victims of brutality by Indian extremists and mistreatment by the government.

Chairman Kashmir Council EU said that the situation in Occupied Kashmir is so bad that India does not allow any representative of the international human rights organization and foreign journalists to visit Occupied Kashmir.

He said that earlier India tried to deceive the world about the Kashmir dispute by calling a meeting of the G20 Working Group on Tourism in Srinagar on May 22. Wants to continue the occupation.

He said that Jammu and Kashmir is a disputed area and in this context international law and UN Security Council resolutions exist.

Chairman Kashmir Council EU said that for peace in the region, it is necessary to find a peaceful and acceptable solution to the problem.

Regarding the successive visits of the Indian Prime Minister to different countries, including Greece, Ali Raza Syed said that India cannot hide its deeds by building relations with the world, especially as the whole world knows what Modi and his government are doing. It is violating human rights.

He said that the international community has to take seriously the fact that the Kashmiri people have been suffering from killings and torture at the hands of the Indian occupation forces for a long time.
