Islamabad: The real reason behind the removal of Additional Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar, who sentenced Chairman PTI Imran Khan in the Toshah Khana reference, to form the OSD has come to light.
OSD-designated Judge Humayun Dilawar wrote a letter to the Registrar Islamabad High Court stating that he faces serious security threats and requested to shift his posting elsewhere.
It should be noted that Humayun Dilawar wrote a letter to the Chief Justice High Court on his return from training in the UK, in which he informed about the security concerns he was facing. Judge Humayun Dilawar returned to Pakistan on August 16 and on August 17 he wrote a letter to the Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court and in the letter also referred to the decision of Chairman PTI.
He expressed fear in the post that some unpleasant incident may happen in his court on behalf of the protestors, while he faced protests and threats during the training in the UK.

Judge Humayun Dilawar wrote in his letter that since the verdict in the case against the head of the political party, there is a campaign against me on social media, I am facing serious threats from different people from all over the world.
He said in the post that my family in the village is also facing threats from across the border, my children are also facing difficult situations in schools.
The post said that even during the course at the University of Hull, UK, I and other judicial officers faced the unfortunate situation of being posted elsewhere. He requested in the post that judicial complex can be posted in G-11 or Islamabad High Court.
