The cross-cultural comedy ‘The Queen of My Dreams’, a collaboration between Pakistani and Canadian artists, will be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 8.
According to media reports, the film revolves around a mother and daughter, with a lively story and directed by Fauzia Mirza. In this regard, she says that for a long time she wanted to make a feature film in Pakistan, she has been working hard for it for the last 12 years.
Artists collaborated across borders to make the Pakistani-Canadian film, with a month-long shoot in Karachi and ten days in Canada.
The cast of this international film includes Amrit Kaur, Nimra Bucha, Hamza Haq, Gul Rana, Ali Kazmi, Meher Jafri and others.
