Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanan jointly won the Best Bollywood Actress crown while Allu Arjun bagged the Best Actor award.
According to Indian media reports, the names of the winners of the 69th National Film Awards were announced during a press conference at the National Media Center in New Delhi yesterday.
For the first time this year, the National Film Awards have been looted by Allu Arjun, Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanan for Pushpa: The Rise, Gangubai Kathiyawari and Mimi respectively.
According to media reports, this year ‘Rocktree: The Nambi Effect’ was awarded the best film, ‘RRR’ the best popular film and Nikhil Mahajan was given the best director award for the film ‘Godavari’.
Pankaj Tripathi won Best Supporting Actor for ‘Mimi’, Pallavi Joshi won Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Kashmir Files and Shreya Ghoshal won Best Female Playback Singer.
All the artists will be given these awards at the end of this year by Indian President Draupadi Murmu in a grand ceremony.
