Toronto: The joint film of Pakistani and Canadian artists ‘The Queen of My Dreams’ will debut at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8.
The film is written and directed by Fauzia Mirza and revolves around a Pakistani woman who lives in Toronto.
The sudden death of the woman ‘Ezra’s father on a visit to Pakistan takes her on a new journey between memories and reality.
The cast of the movie ‘The Queen of My Dreams’ includes Amrit Kaur, Nimra Bucha, Hamza Haq, Gul Rana, Ali Kazmi, Meher Jafri and others.
Artists collaborated across borders to make the Pakistani-Canadian film, with 30 days of shooting in Karachi and 10 days of shooting in Canada.
