Bhagatanwala: A father poisoned his one-and-a-half-year-old daughter after the birth of her third daughter in a village near Sargodha.
A resident of Bhagtanwala, a village on the outskirts of Sargodha, got angry at the birth of a third daughter at his house and poisoned the one-and-a-half-year-old girl with syrup, which she died on.
The family members said that when the girl was brought to the hospital, the doctors confirmed her death and the body of the deceased was lying blue.
The police registered a case and started legal proceedings and formed teams to arrest the accused. According to sources, the accused is absconding since the incident.
