Islamabad: During the hearing on PTI Chairman’s request, the Chief Justice has remarked that Islamabad High Court may give relief.
During the hearing on the appeals of Chairman PTI Imran Khan against the Tosha Khana case, the Chief Justice inquired as to what condition the Chairman PTI has been kept in jail. An official written response should be given regarding the conditions in their jail.
The Chief Justice said that the federal government should give a written reply to the Chairman PTI regarding the facilities provided in the jail. The High Court is hearing the case, will wait for it. See what the High Court decides, it is possible for the High Court to give relief. Let the High Court decide first, after its decision we will hear the case.
During the hearing, Justice Jamal Khan Mandukhel remarked that it is very painful when lawyers make statements against the High Court. A Civil Court, Magistrate or High Court is not subordinate to the Supreme Court. From the Magistrate to the High Court, everyone is respectful to us. No court should consider itself subordinate to the Supreme Court.
