Doomsday earthquake, deaths exceeded 29 thousand

Relief operations are ongoing in both countries and the death toll is expected to rise further. Aid activities have been accelerated by other organizations including Pakistan.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says that the country is currently facing the worst disaster in history. The victims will be fully supported. Victims who do not want to live in tents should rent houses. Government will pay rent for one year.
