Elon Musk has decided to remove another feature from X

Elon Musk, the owner of social networking website X (formerly Twitter), has decided to remove another feature from the platform.

According to foreign media reports, Elon Musk is now working on removing headlines from news articles shared on X.

Earlier, when a link to a news article was shared, its headline was also automatically displayed in the tweet, but now when sharing the link, only the image will be displayed while the caption or headline has to be written by the user himself.

The purpose of this change is to reduce the space of a single tweet on the screen so that multiple tweets can be viewed on the timeline at once. Elon Musk believes that this will also end the cycle of clickbait.

Yesterday, Elon Musk attracted journalists by tweeting that if you are a journalist who wants freedom of expression and more income, share the news article directly on X.

Elon Musk has decided to remove another feature from X

A few days ago, Elon Musk took the controversial decision to remove the much-important ‘Block’ feature from the platform, which could lead to more difficulties for users.

Blocking option is very useful on any social media platform through which a user can easily protect himself from harassment by others.

In June, Elon Musk said in a statement that he does not like the option to block anyone at all, it is not right at all to block users who buy blue tick by paying money.

What would be the possible effects of feature removal:

1- Users will also have to deal with people on the platform that they don’t know or don’t want to respond to.

2- Cases of users being unnecessarily harassed on X will increase.

3- Users may receive a lot of junk or unwanted messages which will put them in various trouble.

4- Block feature is provided so that users can cut off contact from unnecessary people but now their privacy may be more affected.

5- Users will feel insecure on X when the feature is removed and will avoid it as a result.
