Lahore: The anti-terrorism court allowed the police to investigate and arrest PTI chairman in the Jinnah House vandalism and arson case.
According to Express News, the Investigation Police had filed a petition in the Anti-Terrorism Court to investigate and arrest Chairman PTI in the Jinnah House attack case.
In the application given by DIG Investigation, Lahore, the stand was adopted that Chairman PTI has been convicted under the Election Act and he is imprisoned in Attock Cheil. Their arrest is required to be allowed.
Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Ijaz Ahmad Butar approved the request of the police and allowed the investigation and arrest of the Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
Police sources say that after the court’s permission, the investigation team will be sent to Attock Jail to investigate Chairman PTI.
Police sources say that the chairman will conduct an investigation involving Tehreek-e-Insaf, but the arrest will be kept pending.
Sources further say that the police will inform the jail authorities in writing to arrest the Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf in the Jinnah House case.
It should be noted that a case has been registered against Chairman PTI in Sarwar Road police station.
