The letter said that the President dissolved the National Assembly on August 9, 2023 on the advice of the Prime Minister, the President fixed a date within ninety days of the date of dissolution to hold general elections to the Assembly under Article 48 (5) of the Constitution. are bound to do.
The letter added that the Chief Election Commissioner is invited to meet the President today or tomorrow to fix a suitable date.
