Few people know about Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband, entrepreneur Raj Kundra’s first marriage with Kavita Kundra.
Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman, Rajkandra is always in the headlines, now famous for his sensational face masks and going to jail in a pornographic video scandal.
Raj Kundra, who married Khobroo actress Shilpa Shetty in 2009, was previously in a relationship with his childhood friend Kavita, but their marriage did not last long and Raj and Kavita separated.
The couple also has a daughter who has sole custody of Kavita, Raj has not had any contact with her daughter since his separation from his ex-wife.
Rajkandra accused of cheating on his ex-wife Kavita:
In an interview with Indian media ‘ETimes’, Rajkandra opened up about his past, broken relationships and for the first time also revealed the reasons behind his separation from his first wife.
Rajkandra revealed that his wife Kavita cheated on him with her sister’s husband, his wife had an affair with her brother-in-law.
Rajkundra said during the interview that ‘I feel very relieved today that after so many years I have actually been able to tell the truth about my ex-wife! My mother caught my ex-wife and sister’s husband red-handed many times, two families were ruined because of the wife and her brother-in-law.’

During this interview, Rajkandra also revealed how his current wife, Shilpa Shetty, reacted to the real reason behind his decision to leave his ex-wife.
Raj said that Shilpa wanted me not to hide anything from her and to tell the truth, it was important for Shilpa to know the truth rather than the reason because Shilpa Shetty was often blamed for the breakup of my marriage.
When Kavita Kundra threatened to destroy Shilpa’s married life
As every coin has two sides, Raj’s ex-wife Kavita also had reasons to talk about her crumbling marriage with Rajkandra.
While many people were blaming Shilpa Shetty for the breakup of Rajkandra’s marriage, Kavita also had this to say. Kavita also contributed to the allegations against the actress saying:
“I look at pictures of them (Raj and Shilpa) together and think she’s with my husband, she’s living my life, when I was trying to save my marriage she (Raj) constantly Shilpa. was talking about as if he didn’t care what happened to me because he had found a better, smarter and more famous woman than me.’
