Demonstrations are taking place across France against pension reforms, 500,000 people marched in Paris and burned cars and garbage cans.
Protests continue in different cities of France, 50% of flights have been canceled due to arson.
The news agencies have said in their report that the police used baton charge and tear gas on the protesters.
The protesters have demanded the government not to raise the pension age from 62 to 64 years and have urged for budget reforms by taxing the rich instead of the lower class.
The protestors warned the president that if the pension scheme is not withdrawn, the first strike will take place on February 16 and from March 7, the wheels will be jammed across the country.
