Lahore: The inquiry report of NAB came to light, according to which Monis Elahi was found involved in corruption and money laundering.
The NAB inquiry report of Mons Elahi in the case of investigation of kickbacks and scams against former Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elahi and Mons Elahi for government contracts has come to light, according to which Mons Elahi has been found involved in corruption and money laundering. Munis Elahi’s assets increased as Pervez Elahi became the Chief Minister.
According to the NAB report, Monis Elahi took kickbacks through his frontmen Azmat Hayat and Sohail Asghar for contracts. From July 2022, Mons Elahi deposited huge domestic and foreign sums in his bank accounts. Mons Elahi purchased more than 384 kanals of land after July 2022 for Rs 72 million. The land purchased was apparently made with money from kickbacks and bribes.
The report stated that Munis Elahi misused his father’s position as Chief Minister while Munis Elahi received bribes by awarding contracts to favored contractors in Gujarat. Mons Elahi has been found involved in corruption and corrupt practices and money laundering.
It should be noted that Parvez Elahi is in the custody of NAB in the case of kickbacks in government contracts.
