Mecca: Umrah pilgrims continued to circumambulate the Kaaba despite the torrential rain in Makkah.
During the torrential rain in Makkah, faith-enhancing scenes are seen in Masjid al-Haram. Despite the torrential rain, the Umrah pilgrims continued to circumambulate and praise Allah.
Due to the gusts of stormy winds, various items were blown in the yard of Masjid al-Haram and the cleaning staff slipped while not maintaining their balance. Other areas of Makkah, including the roads around Masjid al-Haram, were also flooded.
Scenes of lightning on top of Makkah Tower during the torrential rain went viral on social media. The administration of Harmaan Sharifin says that for the convenience of pilgrims and worshippers, immediate drainage of water and drying of the floor has been ensured at the mataf, prayer places, entrances.
