Chandrayaan-3, the Indian mission to reach the moon, will land on the moon at around 6 pm today.
All eyes are on this landing which, if successful, will make India the fourth country to land on the moon after the US, Russia and China.
Indian media say that the Chandrayaan 3 mission will likely land on the southern side of the moon.
It may be noted that the Chandrayaan-3 mission took off from the state of Andhra Pradesh on July 14 and is trying to land after a long journey of 40 days.
