Athens: 18 migrants were badly burned to death in a fire while trying to enter Turkey illegally from a forest in Greece.
According to the international news agency, 18 badly burned bodies were found near the Turkish border adjacent to Greece. The men were caught in a fast-spreading forest fire in Greece.
The location where the bodies were found is the same route that migrants use to enter Turkey illegally. There was a heavy fire at this place.
The fire also engulfed two villages in the forest, in which schools, graveyards and dozens of houses were burnt to ashes.
It should be remembered that today is the fourth day of the fire in the two forests of Alexandroupolis and Kavala in Greece, which 4 planes, 3 helicopters and more than 200 firefighters are doing their best to extinguish, but the fire continues to spread.
It should be remembered that every summer in Greece there are devastating forest fires.
In the destruction caused by climate change, forest fires are becoming common and even now there are fires in the forests of many countries, including the United States, Australia and Greece.
