Adhyaman: The rescue team sent by Pakistan in Turkey has completed the operation in the earthquake affected areas.
According to the Express Tribune, the UN-INSARAG certified Pakistan rescue team sent by Pakistan to the earthquake affected areas in Turkey has successfully completed its rescue and relief operation in Turkey’s Adiaman province, which is the most affected by the earthquake. It is one of the 10 provinces affected.
The commander of the 52-member team, Rizwan Naseer, in an exclusive conversation with The Express Tribune, said that the urban search and rescue operation has come to an end and the team will leave for Pakistan on Monday.
According to Rizwan Naseer, Pakistan Rescue Team (PRT) was the first international team that reached Turkey for relief work, the rescue operation continued for 5 days and the Turkish government has now removed the debris and shifted the survivors to different parts of the country. Has started doing.
About six days after the earthquake, the chances of survival for those trapped under the rubble are slim as the team searched for survivors in at least 59 buildings using locators, he said. Those who were found alive were saved.

Rescue teams used locators that use different types of radiation to look for signs of life in buildings, a team member said. Another member of the team said that scientifically and biologically it is not possible for a human being to survive for 4 to 5 days without food and water.
Commander Rizwan Nasir added that his team will remain in Turkey until Monday for relief work, while local authorities have started using large excavators to remove the debris. He appreciated the team’s efforts, rescue and relief work and expressed pride in their success by sending the team abroad.
It should be noted that the Pakistan Rescue Team has made a positive impact in the lives of the affected people by demonstrating their skills and expertise in dealing with natural disasters.
