Rawalpindi: Citizens came out on the streets against the alarming increase in electricity bills.

They protested in front of the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (ISCO) office in Kahota after the bill was overcharged by thousands of rupees. A large number of citizens stormed the Kahota Sub-Division Office.

Citizens tried to forcefully enter ISCO office and also tried to break the gate when it was closed.

Consumers say that electricity is not coming, but bills of thousands are being sent. The electricity bills have been increased so much that they are unable to pay.
