North Korea test-fired another cruise missile.
According to North Korea’s official news agency, the strategic cruise missile was tested from a ship near the east coast.
North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was also present during the missile test. No further details about the missile were released.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said in a statement that the US and South Korea’s joint military exercises in the region will be effectively responded to and North Korea’s defense capabilities will continue to be strengthened.
The United States and South Korea have condemned North Korea’s new missile test, calling it a threat to regional peace.
