Mumbai: Bollywood’s King Khan’s new film ‘Pathan’ despite controversies has managed to cross 900 crores in 17 days while remaining a few steps away from entering the 100 crores race.
Yash Raj Films released the film’s worldwide business figures on Saturday, which revealed that the film has collected Rs 900 crore at the box office in the first 17 days of its release.
According to the figures, the film has made a business of Rs 464 crores in India and Rs 344 crores in foreign countries. Film observers believe that the film could become India’s highest grossing film with more earnings in the coming days.

On the other hand, Bollywood producer Ronnie Screwvala has claimed that Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’ cannot break the record of ‘Dangal’ despite all its successes. Film critic Taran Adarsh had predicted last week that ‘Pathan’ would overtake Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ to become the highest grossing film in Hindi cinema.
Ronnie Screwvala wrote on Taran Adarsh’s tweet that we should be clear about the figures, ‘Dangal’ was and will remain the highest grossing film of Hindi cinema globally.
