Lahore: Member of National Assembly of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Shaista Pervez Malik has resigned from taking the post of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister.
PML-N sources told Express News that Shaista Parvez Malik resigned from becoming the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister due to personal reasons and thanked the party for the nomination.
Shaista Parvez replied to the PML-G leadership that I am grateful to the party for honoring me but apologized for personal reasons, I will fulfill the responsibility of policy advisor for women on behalf of the party.
It should be noted that the Prime Minister had included five new assistants in the cabinet on February 8, including Member National Assembly Rao Ajmal, Shaista Pervez, Qaiser Sheikh, Muhammad Hamid Hameed and Malik Sohail Khan. Later, the Cabinet Division also issued a notification for the appointments of the said members.
