A 6-year-old child riding in a Suzuki High Roof was killed by a bullet coming from an unknown direction near PT Interchange petrol pump in Qayyumabad.
According to the details, a 6-year-old child riding in a Suzuki High Roof was killed on Friday night near the PT Interchange petrol pump of Qayyumabad area of Korangi Industrial Area police station. The deceased child was identified as Abdul Ghani son of Abdul Rauf, the deceased child was a resident of Korangi Mehran Town.
In this regard, SHO KIA Aurangzeb Khattak said that the deceased child was riding along with his family in a high-roof vehicle. A bullet coming from an unknown direction hit the child’s arm while breaking the window of the car at PT Interchange Petrol Pump of Qayyumabad. And the bullet entered the body, seriously injuring the child, who was immediately rushed to Jinnah Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
He said that the police reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported, but the police did not find any evidence of firing at the spot, nor did they find any bullet shell. He started investigating the incident.
On the other hand, Abdul Rauf, the father of the deceased child in Jinnah Hospital, said that he is a driver by profession and his ancestral origin is from inner Sindh and his daughter is sick and is undergoing treatment in a private hospital. and after meeting his daughter, he was going back to Mehran Town, when his car reached near PT Interchange petrol pump of Qayyumabad, suddenly he heard a sound of fire and his son sitting on the back seat of the car, when his son came out. saw that his son was injured which he shifted to the front of the vehicle and immediately reached Jinnah Hospital where his son died during treatment.
He said that the shooting happened around 11 pm and he did not see anyone firing or running away. He said that he has 5 children and he does not want to take any legal action.
