Rawalpindi: Former Home Minister and Awami Musal League chief Sheikh Rasheed was not produced before the Returning Officer NA-62 Rawalpindi due to security concerns.
According to Express News, former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed was summoned by the returning officer to join the scrutiny process, but could not appear due to security concerns, the prison authorities informed the returning officer.
On the other hand, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed’s nomination papers have been approved, but the workers are shouting slogans, no candidate or citizen raised any objection while submitting the form.

Former member National Assembly Sheikh Rashid Shafiq and former MPA Punjab Assembly Rashid Hafeez have also reached the office of the Returning Officer.
Talking to the media, Sheikh Rashid, nephew of Sheikh Rashid, said that at 7:30 pm, the phone call from the jail will not produce Sheikh Rashid, the jail authorities said that they do not accept the order of the returning officer.

Rashid Shafiq said that the RO has approved the nomination papers without Sheikh Rashid appearing, he will get justice next week. Sheikh Rasheed has declared to be with Imran Khan till the last drop of blood.
He further said that there is no corruption charge against Sheikh Rashid, today we are applying to the police station for the money and items taken from Sheikh Rashid’s house by the Islamabad police. are ready for
