A Bahraini newspaper mistakenly published news that the Israeli army chief was on a visit to Bahrain.
“Akhbar al-Khalij” published a photo of the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, General Herzi Halawi, in which the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, are also present.
Other senior officials and leaders of the region are also seen in this picture.
General Herzi’s visit was not announced by the Israeli government or military.
It should be noted that a regional security conference is ongoing in Bahrain, in which delegations from many countries in the region are participating.
