An order to hear the case of an elderly woman troubled by her son and daughter-in-law immediately

Karachi: The Sindh High Court has ordered to hear the case related to the alleged occupation of the house by evicting the 74-year-old woman on priority basis.

In front of a two-member bench headed by Justice Nimatullah Phalphoto, a hearing was held on the petition related to the rejection of the case of son Kamran Ahmed and daughter-in-law Tahmina regarding the dispute over the alleged occupation of the house by evicting the 74-year-old mother. During the hearing, 74-year-old woman Nusrat appeared in the court. The court accepted the plea of ​​the 74-year-old mother to hear the case on priority basis.

Petitioner’s lawyer Salim Advocate stated that my client was assaulted twice by daughter-in-law, son and daughter-in-law want to occupy the house located in Defense 5-5, my client is the legal owner of the house in Defense 5, the Deputy Commissioner told the mother. After hearing that, he ordered his son and daughter-in-law to vacate the house.

The old woman’s lawyer said that the son and daughter-in-law challenged the decision of the DC in the sessions court, the sessions court rejected the stand of the son and daughter-in-law, now the son and daughter-in-law challenged the sessions court in the Sindh High Court. The case of Kamran Ahmed and daughter-in-law Tahmina should be dismissed, my client is a senior citizen, the case should be heard on priority basis.

The court ordered to hear the case on priority basis and fixed the hearing after two weeks. The court has ordered to read the cover file of the case because of the senior citizen.
