Shehzad Shaukat, the lawyer of the governor, argued that if the assembly is dissolved automatically, then the governor is not bound to give the date of the elections.
Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s lawyer said that it is clearly stated in the constitution that elections will be held within ninety days after the dissolution of the assembly. The president can also give the date of the election. If the court orders, the president will give the date.
