Karachi: A pregnant woman mysteriously went missing from the gynecological ward of Jinnah Hospital in Shahr Quaid while the hospital administration refused to cooperate.

According to Express News, instead of registering a case of the incident, the president of the police also promised to go home after receiving the request from the husband, but the heirs remained outside the hospital. When the doctor asked her to come on Thursday for delivery, she reached the hospital at 11 am on Thursday along with her husband and 2 children and her mother. The family stopped outside and she went to the gynecology ward. After 2 hours she came out of the hospital to have something to eat on the advice of the doctors and then went back inside the hospital.

After several hours passed, the family members became concerned, on which they inquired about Hijab Fatimah, the counter of the gynecology ward, and she said that the lady named was not present in the hospital and refused to say anything more. After making noise for a long time, helper 15 informed the police.

The police arrived at the spot and took a statement from Wasim, the husband of the missing woman, and after talking to the counter of the gynecology ward, he went back. The woman in charge told Express that we have made them check the entire Ginty Ward but did not show only the rooms which belong to doctors and are closed, yet these people are protesting.

As far as the CCTV footage is concerned, it cannot be shown before 9 am because IT department people are there in the morning. Later, the husband of the missing wife reached the Sadar police station to file a case of the incident, where the duty The officer said that the SHO was sleeping and could not register the case yet. Waseem further said that after talking to a senior police officer on mobile phone, the duty officer received the request, he said that the wife is missing since 9 am on Thursday, the police is working in a evasive manner, several hours have passed. There is no trace of his wife.

On the other hand, the police say that there is no entry of the woman in the register of the hospital, we spoke to the hospital administration, no file has been submitted in the name of the said woman, we have checked the CCTV footages. It is not clear.

The CCTV footage seen by the family is from the waiting room cameras, police said, adding that they have started an investigation into the incident.
