Mumbai: Indian producer Ronnie Screwvala has claimed that Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’ cannot break the record of ‘Dangal’ despite all its success.
Film critic Taran Adarsh had predicted last week that ‘Pathan’ would overtake Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ to become the highest grossing film in Hindi cinema.
Ronnie Screwvala wrote on Taran Adarsh’s tweet that we should be clear about the figures, ‘Dangal’ will remain the highest grossing film of Hindi cinema globally.
He said that ‘Dangal’ had done more than 1200 crore Indian rupees in China alone, so we should keep the record straight.
Shah Rukh Khan’s fans did not like Ronnie’s tweet and called it the producer’s jealousy of ‘Pathan’.
Ronnie Screwvala has produced famous films in the Indian film industry including ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Dhamaka’.
